AEH Antonio Eduardo Henriques Madeira Rainwater Medium Dry 0.75L

Product information "AEH Antonio Eduardo Henriques Madeira Rainwater Medium Dry 0.75L"

The island of Madeira and the Henriques family have been closely linked since the 16th century. Since then, the family has owned the largest estates on the island and cultivated its own vineyards. In 1850, João Gonçalves Henriques finally founded the company Henriques & Henriques. Antonio Eduardo Henriques, who died in 1948, was one of three brothers involved in managing Henriques & Henriques in Madeira. However, Antonio separated from the others and founded an independent, successful Madeira wine company under his own name: AEH. After his death, Henriques & Henriques acquired Antonio's AEH wines and adopted the brand. Verdelho grapes form the basis of this delicious, off-dry Rainwater Madeira with a medium body. The clear AEH Antonio Eduardo Henriques Madeira Rainwater Medium Dry presents itself in a beautiful golden hue and displays a very harmonious nose, supported by delicate aromas of almonds and orange peel. On the palate, it is medium dry with expressive almond and citrus notes that lead into a pleasant finish. Highly recommended as an aperitif.
