Fine brandy
Fine fruit brandies are high-quality distillates produced from particularly aromatic and ripe fruit. They are regarded as the pinnacle of spirits and combine craftsmanship with the essence of nature. Typical varieties include fruit brandies made from pears, apples, cherries or plums, but more exotic varieties such as quince or rowanberry brandy are also enjoying growing popularity. Crucial to the quality of a fine fruit brandy are the care taken in selecting the fruit, gentle distillation and the ageing period. Fine brandies are usually enjoyed neat to fully savour their delicate aromas and pure character. They are a delight for connoisseurs and an expression of tradition, craftsmanship and passion.

Frank Carrs Lionnir Irish Poitin 0.5L
In the green hills of Donegal, where Atlantic winds meet the stark landscape, the story of Frank Carr was born. Born in 1898, he was a man of striking appearance, whose reputation for courage and character still resonates today. Despite the prohibitions of his time, he distilled poitín from peated malt, oats, and sweet molasses—a blend that earned him a reputation as a rebel, but also the respect of his community. His spirits were considered intense and complex, characterized by soft smoke, subtle malt notes, and a distinctive depth. Today, this legacy continues with Lionnir, a poitín deliberately left unfiltered to preserve its original character. The name means "shine" and evokes the glimmer of the sun on the waves of Donegal Bay. In the glass, Lionnir unfolds aromas of citrus, coffee, and peat smoke, accompanied by a vibrant freshness and a hint of spice. Each bottle is a tribute to the untamed spirit of Ireland, a symbol of authenticity and freedom. Lionnir unites history, craftsmanship, and passion into an expression that keeps tradition alive while offering a modern interpretation.

Killowen Oats Amaze Balls Peated Poitin 0.5L
The Killowen Distillery in the Mourne Mountains is known for its bold approach to reinterpreting old Irish traditions. The Killowen Oats Amaze Balls Peated Poitín 0.5L is a unique project created for the Dublin festival "Poitín Now." The distillery used an exceptional mashbill of seven sacks of roasted corn, six sacks of oats, and one sack of peated, malted barley – a combination that blends historical recipes with modern experimentation. Killowen describes the aroma during mashing as reminiscent of fresh popcorn at the cinema, and this is precisely the aroma that is later found in the finished poitín. The nose reveals a distinct popcorn note, complemented by a subtle hint of menthol. On the palate, creamy impressions of cream and vanilla unfold, reflecting the high oat content and creating a smooth yet robust texture. The finish reveals notes of pine needles and warm custard cream, elegantly rounding off the overall impression. The combination of peaty accents, toasted grain, and creamy sweetness makes this Poitín a distinctive and exceptional creation.

Manguin Eau de Vie Poire Williams Brut de Fut 0.5L
The talented French agronomist Claude Manguin laid the foundation for Maison Manguin in the 1940s on the Île de la Barthelasse near Avignon, in the heart of Provence, by planting and cultivating several dozen hectares of pear and peach trees. As early as 1957, they began distilling ripe fruit in copper Charentais pot stills, with "La Poire Manguin" quickly becoming the flagship product of the house. Since 2011, Béatrice and Emmanuel Hanquiez have been running this traditional company with great passion and a commitment to creating exceptional spirits. For this Manguin Eau de Vie Poire Williams Brut de Fût, Williams pears from select terroirs in Haute Provence are harvested, carefully fermented, and then subjected to a slow double distillation to preserve the full aroma of the fruit. The subsequent maturation phase takes place in Muscat de Beaumes de Venice casks, which lend the distillate additional depth and elegance. The result is an expressive Williams pear brandy full of finesse, fruitiness, and Provençal character, impressively reflecting the signature style of Maison Manguin.
