It is a blend of premium rums aged for at least 12 years using the Solera method in ex-bourbon barrels. Before bottling, it receives a special finish in French oak barrels that previously held cognac. Intense, floral, and slightly sweet on the nose, the Ron Canero Essential 12YO Cognac Finish is complex on the palate, with subtle wood notes, sweetness, and a touch of freshness, offering aromas of light vanilla, ripe fruit, and distinct cognac barrel influence. Its finish is long, well-structured, and warming.

Before bottling, it receives its special finish in Scottish single malt casks from the Ben Nevis distillery. Intense, slightly fruity, and somewhat sweet on the nose, the Ron Canero 12YO Malt Whisky Finish is full-bodied, lightly smoky, creamy, and fruity-sweet on the palate with aromas of vanilla, exotic fruits, and distinct notes from the Scottish cask. Its finish is long, well-balanced, and pleasantly warm.

Slightly sweet and fruity on the nose, the Ron Canero 12YO is pleasantly spicy, slightly woody, creamy, and sweet on the palate, with aromas of vanilla, exotic fruits, a touch of wood, and sweet almonds. Its finish is pleasantly warming and long-lasting.

Ron Canero Essential 12YO Sauternes Cask Finish is a blend of premium rums aged for at least 12 years in ex-bourbon barrels using the Solera system. Before bottling, it receives its special finishing touch in Château d'Arche casks. While the winemakers are often not mentioned, we are pleased that permission was obtained from the winery this time. Intense, slightly fruity, and somewhat sweet on the nose, Ron Canero Essential 12YO Sauternes Cask Finish is full-bodied, fruity, and creamy on the palate with flavors of vanilla, peach, exotic fruits, and distinct cask notes. Its finish is long, well-balanced, and pleasantly warming.

This exceptional rum is distilled in the idyllic Dominican Republic and aged for up to 12 years using a special method: First, it matures for an extended period in ex-bourbon barrels made of American white oak using the Solera system. Then, it receives its characteristic finish in old cream sherry casks from Spain. The result is a complex and multi-layered rum with a beautiful reddish amber color, offering intense aromas and a touch of sweetness on the nose. On the palate, this slightly creamy and sweet rum delights with wonderfully fruity and sherry notes of raisins and nuts, oak, vanilla, and a hint of spice.
