Menaud places the utmost importance on regional produce and prioritises quality over quantity. The grain is grown in harmony with nature, which is essential to the company. Product development is carried out with great care, and only products that fully meet the high standards are put into production in moderate quantities. This process can take anywhere from months to years. Menaud’s aim is to guide connoisseurs into a unique world of indulgence and open the door to the world of spirits for them.

Production is as traditional as possible: no flavour enhancers or artificial additives are used in the micro-distillery. This is impressively demonstrated by the vodka, which captivates with its outstanding craftsmanship. The focus here is not on distillation a hundred times over, but on a harmonious flavour. The result is a silky-smooth texture that gently coats the palate with sweet, floral aromas.

Menaud Spirits is run by the Harvey family, based on Isle-aux-Coudres in the East Charlevoix region of Quebec, Canada. They make no compromises and pride themselves on their unique spirits production, always carried out with meticulous attention to detail. The finest fermented wheat and rye, harvested from their own extensive fields, form the valuable foundation for this excellent London Dry-style Menaud Gin. It is first distilled twice. The infusion of ten exclusively local botanicals begins during the third distillation, and the precious and unique Charlevoix ingredient, Salicornia, a salty, grass-like plant that grows on salt marshes along riverbanks, is added. Woody and beautifully citrusy base notes blend perfectly thanks to the filtered saline aromas of the spring plant. A hint of peppery notes creates an incredible balance between freshness and body, perfectly rounding out this Menaud Gin.

The Menaud distillery and microbrewery is located on Isle-aux-Coudres in the East Charlevoix region of Quebec, Canada, and is owned and operated by the Harvey family. Over 150 hectares of fields are cultivated with a variety of grains to produce exceptional spirits that reflect the island's unique character. The island's special location creates a microclimate unlike any other in the region. Menaud aimed to create a pure and distinctive vodka, which they then bottled in an unusually simple and aesthetically pleasing bottle. To achieve this, they used 75% wheat (which imparts a fine, silky texture and grain aromas), 25% rye (which contributes a spicy, mineral character), and pure water from the La Malbaie River (which adds freshness and smoothness). After distillation, the vodka was only lightly chill-filtered to lock in its exquisite aromas of grain and dried fruit. Menaud Vodka reveals itself as extremely pure and clear on the palate of the connoisseur!
