Menaud Spirits is run by the Harvey family, based on Isle-aux-Coudres in the East Charlevoix region of Quebec, Canada. They make no compromises and pride themselves on their unique spirits production, always carried out with meticulous attention to detail. The finest fermented wheat and rye, harvested from their own extensive fields, form the valuable foundation for this excellent London Dry-style Menaud Gin. It is first distilled twice. The infusion of ten exclusively local botanicals begins during the third distillation, and the precious and unique Charlevoix ingredient, Salicornia, a salty, grass-like plant that grows on salt marshes along riverbanks, is added. Woody and beautifully citrusy base notes blend perfectly thanks to the filtered saline aromas of the spring plant. A hint of peppery notes creates an incredible balance between freshness and body, perfectly rounding out this Menaud Gin.
