Amazzoni
Amázzoni Distillery is Brazil’s first exclusive gin distillery – a former 18th-century coffee farm. It is situated in the beautiful Paraíba Valley in the state of Rio de Janeiro, surrounded by rivers and swaying palm trees, vast plains, fields and fish farms – a true paradise on earth. The Amázzoni brand was launched by friends Arturo Isola and Alexandre Mazza in 2015. The pair began their passion for gin by founding a gin society called ‘Os Ginasticos’. The idea and desire to create their own gin from their home country of Brazil soon took shape. In collaboration with South America’s leading mixologist, Tato Giovanni, who developed the recipe, they created the first Brazilian craft gin. The trio chose ‘Farm Cachoeira’ as their headquarters – a former 18th-century coffee farm which they converted into Brazil’s first ‘craft gin distillery’, complete with distillation equipment and all the necessary facilities. Amázzoni is not only the first premium gin from a Brazilian distillery, but also uses five local ingredients that had never before been considered botanical ingredients for gin. Classic ingredients include juniper berries, bay leaves, lemon, coriander, mandarin and pink pepper. Added to these are the extraordinary ingredients from the heart of the Amazon rainforest: cocoa, Brazil nut, maxixe, Victoria regia and cipò cravo.

Amazzoni Gin 0.7L
The first gin distillery in Brazil was established on the Cachoeira Farm, and Amázzoni is the first Brazilian gin to reflect the spirit of its people and the country's centuries-old traditions. The ingredients for this gin consist of eleven botanicals, including juniper, bay leaf, lemon, coriander, mandarin orange, and pink peppercorns, as well as five botanicals from the heart of the Amazon rainforest: cacao, Brazil nut, maxixe (cucumber), Victoria regia (water lily), and cipò cravo (clove vine). These are ingredients never before used in gin production. Crystal-clear, pure spring water from the Amazon rainforest is added to this blend and macerated in grain alcohol. Distillation takes place in a custom-made copper pot still. The bottle's design is inspired by a Renaissance-era medicine bottle and is made from recycled glass. Wonderfully fragrant notes of juniper, bay leaf, and coriander, along with subtle hints of Brazil nut, reach the nose. On the palate, it is soft and concentrated with spicy notes of juniper, lemon, and coriander, which also linger subtly in the pleasant finish. Perfectly suited for a classic Gin & Tonic.

Amazzoni Gin Rio Negro 0.7L
The Amázzoni distillery is Brazil's first exclusive gin distillery and is located on a former 18th-century coffee farm in the picturesque Paraíba Valley in the state of Rio de Janeiro. Just a few years after the successful launch of their first gin, master distiller Alexandre Mazza developed a bold new interpretation of Brazilian gin-making with Gin Rio Negro. This bottling consciously returns to the classic roots of gin, with juniper taking center stage. It is complemented by coriander and lemon, while deliberately omitting some of the trendy Amazonian botanicals such as maxixe or cipó cravo. The result is a classically structured London Dry style with a powerful character and pronounced body. On the nose, intense and refined juniper notes emerge, followed by coriander, fresh lemon, and a hint of bitter cocoa. On the palate, a full-bodied interplay of aromas unfolds, with dominant juniper, strong coriander notes, and delicate citrus accents. The finish is long and characterized by warm, spicy notes. Rio Negro is a robust, expressive gin with plenty of style and substance, making it ideal for creative and sophisticated gin cocktails.
