Each bottle combines three different whiskeys, each made from three unique mash bills whose history dates back to the late 1700s. The Ry3 Blended Rye Whiskey Rum Cask Finish is a blend of a 14-year-old rye whiskey matured in an ex-bourbon barrel, a 4-year-old Alberta rye whiskey, and a 3-year-old rye whiskey matured in a new American oak barrel. The blend was then finished for a period of time in an ex-rum barrel for its refined finish. The result of this meticulous blend is a balanced and silky-smooth rye whiskey that offers the nose delightful notes of rye spice, white pepper, orange peel, peach, vanilla, and cigar leaf, while the palate is treated to a honeycomb-like mouthful of peach nectar and maple bran.
