Assaranca

Assaranca Vodka is a premium vodka produced in County Donegal, Ireland, by Sliabh Liag Distillers. The vodka was inspired by the renowned beauty of Donegal's vast landscape and the breathtaking Assaranca waterfall near the village of Ardara. Sliabh Liag takes a smooth, triple-distilled grain spirit and adds rowan berries and hand-picked gorse blossoms for subtle flavoring. The final distillation takes place in the distillery's 500-liter copper pot still. These two ancient native plants shower the vast Donegal landscapes with vibrant splashes of color at certain times of the year. While rowan berries bear their beautiful red fruit in late summer and early autumn, gorse (or sea gorse) blooms almost year-round. Its bright yellow flowers release the distinctive coconut scent that wafts lazily across bogs and mountains on warm summer days. Assaranca Vodka offers the nose fresh, light coconut notes and the palate fresh, sweet grassy notes, with a hint of earthy coconut water, transitioning into a pleasant and very smooth finish.
