This exquisite Ron Izalco 10YO Gran Reserva is a blend of three Central American rums: Nicaragua (oak, richness, baked apples), Guatemala (stone fruits, nutty, long finish), and Panama (vanilla, brown sugar, baking spices), aged for ten years in ex-bourbon barrels. Ron Izalco's color is a dark mahogany with copper highlights. The nose is greeted by fruity aromas of stone fruits, as well as notes of oak, tobacco, and creamy caramel. On the palate, it initially presents itself as smooth and sweet, slowly unfolding its complex body with hints of American oak and sweet pipe tobacco. Its finish is long, enhanced by slowly oxidizing tannins that blend perfectly with the rich rum aromas, resulting in a unique taste experience.

This Ron Izalco 15 Year Old Cask Strength is a premium rum—a tribute to Central America. It consists of a blend of rums from five countries: Guatemala, Nicaragua, Panama, Costa Rica, and Guyana. The rums were aged for at least fifteen years in individual ex-bourbon barrels at their respective distilleries in Central America. Guyanese rum adds notes of ginger, cinnamon, molasses, and toffee. Costa Rican rum offers overripe pineapple, coffee, licorice, smoothness, and richness. Ron Izalco 15YO is a Spanish-style rum with balanced fruity notes and full-bodied undertones of American oak, roasted nuts, and sweet pipe tobacco.
