Ron Izalco 10 Years Gran Reserva is an exceptional blend of three Central American rums: Nicaragua (oak, richness, baked apples), Guatemala (stone fruits, nutty, long finish), and Panama (vanilla, brown sugar, baking spices). Aged for ten years in ex-bourbon barrels, it develops an impressive depth. In the glass, it displays a dark mahogany color with copper highlights. The nose offers fruity aromas of stone fruits, accompanied by notes of oak, tobacco, and creamy caramel. On the palate, it initially tastes smooth and sweet before revealing its complex body with hints of American oak and sweet pipe tobacco. The finish is long, carried by finely integrated tannins that blend harmoniously with the rich rum aromas – a truly unique taste experience.
