Absinthium Bohemicum
Absinthe “Absinthium Bohemicum” is produced by slow distillation of selected herbs from the Silesian Mountains, including wormwood (Artemisia absinthium) and Pontic wormwood (Artemisia pontica). The company’s motto is ‘100% natural products’, which is why absinthe is made exclusively from natural ingredients. The base consists of a micro-fine distillate in which the finest herbs are macerated for a specific period of time. Maceration is followed by distillation, which yields a clear distillate. Further herbs are added to the distillate to give the absinthe its characteristic colour and, moreover, to enhance its already remarkable aromas and flavour. The absinthe contains no artificial flavourings, nor are any additional sweeteners or colourings added. It is a pure, natural product and the most famous absinthe of the Austro-Hungarian Empire, much loved by the great artists of the past such as Vincent van Gogh, Toulouse-Lautrec, Ernest Hemingway and others. Legendary, mystical, the sinful drink of bohemians, artists and bar-hoppers, produced using the original recipe.
