Cognac Couprie is a brand steeped in tradition, renowned for its high-quality cognacs from the famous Cognac region in south-west France. Couprie’s history dates back to 1910, when the Couprie family began producing their own fine spirits. Today, the company is run by the fourth generation of the family, who preserve the artisanal tradition whilst utilising modern techniques to create first-class cognacs.

Couprie’s cognac is characterised by its exceptionally high quality, as only selected grapes from the finest sites in Grande Champagne, Petite Champagne and Fins Bois – the three most renowned growing areas in the Cognac region – are used. The combination of meticulous distillation, long ageing in oak barrels and the family’s expertise results in cognacs with remarkable depth and complexity.

Particularly popular are Couprie’s VS, VSOP and XO expressions, which are renowned for their smooth texture, floral aromas and fruity notes. This exquisite Pineau is created through the harmonious blending of fresh Ugni Blanc and Colombard grape juice with aged Cognac. After blending, the brandy matures for several years in oak barrels, which gives it its balance, depth, and elegant structure. In the glass, the Pineau displays a light gold color with amber highlights. The nose unfolds a soft, complex aroma of ripe grapes, candied fruit, walnuts, honey, and the subtle warmth of Cognac. On the palate, it impresses with a delicate sweetness that blends perfectly with fruit and oak notes. The texture is round and smooth, the finish harmonious, mild, and long-lasting.
