The Barbados rum casks mature near the coast in a tropical climate, exposed to the sea air, which promotes increased evaporation and creates a particularly harmonious interplay between the wood and the rum. Tiki Lovers Pineapple was developed in 2015 following the success of Tiki Lovers White Rum and Tiki Lovers Dark Rum. It is based on natural extracts of tropical pineapple from South America and a blend of Caribbean rums. The blend is composed of aged and unaged Jamaican pot still rum from the Hampton Estate and Worthy Park distilleries, three-year-old Barbados rum from the Foursquare distillery, and young, unaged column still rum from Trinidad and Guyana. Finally, Tiki Lovers Pineapple is enriched with the pineapple extract and then left to rest for several weeks, allowing the fruity pineapple aromas to fully integrate with the notes of the sugarcane distillate and express the full complexity of the rum blend. Tiki Lovers Pineapple is not your average flavored rum! The Tiki Lovers White Rum Special Edition Museum Five Continents is a special bottling from the cocktail specialists at The Bitter Truth. The striking design, created by Los Angeles artist Michael Uhlenkott, was designed exclusively for the permanent exhibition "Tikimania" at the Museum Five Continents in Munich. The base of this white rum is a three- to five-year-old Jamaican rum, aged in oak barrels and known for its intense, characterful style. This blend is complemented by a Trinidadian rum, aged for up to five years in charred ex-bourbon barrels. Both rums are then filtered through activated charcoal to preserve their expressive aromas while achieving a clear, bright color. The composition is rounded off with a fresh, crystal-clear Trinidadian rum. The result is an expressive white Caribbean rum with fruity, floral, and vibrant aromas. This special edition is perfectly suited to Tiki culture and forms an ideal basis for complex, tropical Tiki cocktails with depth and character.
