MacNaMara

Pràban na Linne, producer of The Gaelic Whiskies, was founded in 1976 on the Isle of Skye by the renowned Scottish entrepreneur Sir Iain Noble. Sir Ian's aim was to create authentic, handcrafted whiskies of quality for connoisseurs of the Gaelic-speaking Hebrides islands of Scotland, while simultaneously creating employment and career opportunities on the island. Pràban na Linne is the Gaelic term describing a "small smuggling operation on the Sound of Sleat," with its headquarters on the idyllic Sleat peninsula. It was one of the first companies to bring a traditional, non-chill filtered whisky to market, ensuring an exceptionally smooth and mellow character in accordance with ancient customs and traditions of whisky making. This classic MacNaMara blended whisky is an approachable blend, composed of both grain and malt whiskies. It displays a beautiful, intense golden color and offers the nose delicate floral and spicy aromas. On the palate, intense notes of biscuit and citrus fruits stand out. Its finish is pleasantly soft and medium-long.
