The Ron Canero brand belongs to one of the world's largest rum producers – Oliver & Oliver. Based in the Dominican Republic, Oliver & Oliver produces rum according to traditional Cuban recipes, as well as new bottlings with their own distinct styles. The Ron Canero Essential 12YO Reserva Especial is a premium blend of different rums, aged for at least 12 years in American white oak barrels using the Solera method. Slightly sweet and fruity on the nose, the Ron Canero 12YO is pleasantly spicy, slightly woody, creamy, and sweet on the palate, with aromas of vanilla, exotic fruits, a touch of wood, and sweet almonds. Its finish is pleasantly warming and long-lasting.
