Oliver & Oliver, one of the world's largest rum producers, created the Ron Canero brand in the Dominican Republic. The Ron Canero Essential 12YO Cognac Finish is the newest addition to the series. It is a blend of premium rums aged for at least 12 years using the Solera method in ex-bourbon barrels. Before bottling, it receives a special finish in French oak barrels that previously held cognac. Intense, floral, and slightly sweet on the nose, the Ron Canero Essential 12YO Cognac Finish is complex on the palate, with subtle wood notes, sweetness, and a touch of freshness, offering aromas of light vanilla, ripe fruit, and distinct cognac barrel influence. Its finish is long, well-structured, and warming.
