This exceptional rum is distilled in the idyllic Dominican Republic and aged for up to 12 years using a special method: First, it matures for an extended period in ex-bourbon barrels made of American white oak using the Solera system. Then, it receives its characteristic finish in old cream sherry casks from Spain. The result is a complex and multi-layered rum with a beautiful reddish amber color, offering intense aromas and a touch of sweetness on the nose. On the palate, this slightly creamy and sweet rum delights with wonderfully fruity and sherry notes of raisins and nuts, oak, vanilla, and a hint of spice. The beautifully long finish is smooth and well-structured.
