Oliver & Oliver, one of the world's largest rum producers, created the Summum brand in the Dominican Republic. The Summum 12 Year Old Malt Whisky Finish is a blend of premium rums aged for at least 12 years in ex-bourbon barrels using the Solera method. Before bottling, it receives a special finish in Scottish single malt casks from the Ben Nevis distillery. On the nose, the Summum 12 Year Old Malt Whisky Finish is intense, slightly fruity, and somewhat sweet. On the palate, it unfolds with a full body, subtle smokiness, creaminess, and fruity sweetness, with aromas of vanilla, exotic fruits, and the distinct influence of the Scottish cask. The finish is long, well-balanced, and pleasantly warm.
