Oliver & Oliver, one of the world's largest rum producers, created the Ron Canero bottlings in the Dominican Republic. The Ron Canero Essential 12YO Malt Whisky Finish is a blend of premium rums aged for at least 12 years in ex-bourbon barrels using the Solera method. Before bottling, it receives its special finish in Scottish single malt casks from the Ben Nevis distillery. Intense, slightly fruity, and somewhat sweet on the nose, the Ron Canero 12YO Malt Whisky Finish is full-bodied, lightly smoky, creamy, and fruity-sweet on the palate with aromas of vanilla, exotic fruits, and distinct notes from the Scottish cask. Its finish is long, well-balanced, and pleasantly warm.
