Manguin Eau de Vie Golden Pear No. 45 0.5L

Product information "Manguin Eau de Vie Golden Pear No. 45 0.5L"

Between the Papal Palace in Avignon and the Philippe Le Bel Tower in Villeneuve-lès-Avignon, connected in the 14th century by the famous 21-arched Avignon Bridge, lies Barthelasse, the largest river island in Europe. It boasts excellent soil conditions of sand and silt and is caressed by both the Mistral wind and the Provençal sun, which greatly benefits the cultivation of exceptional fruit. In this idyllic setting in the heart of Provence, Maison Manguin has been pursuing its passion for fruit brandies for sixty years. Distilling ripe fruit began as early as 1957 using copper pot stills from the Charentais region. This Manguin Eau de Vie Golden Pear No. 45, bottled in an elegant bottle, is a golden pear brandy that has matured for six months in a select Sauternes cask (Château Myrat - Grand Cru Classé). On the nose, it reveals its full delicacy, rounded off by a hint of wood with subtle notes of soft Bordeaux. On the palate, beautiful aromas of fruity pear, pleasantly sweet and long-lasting.
