The Albert Michler Distillery traces its roots back to the Albert Michler Liqueur, Rum, and Spirits Factory, founded in 1863 in Buchsdorf, Silesia, a purveyor to the court of the Austro-Hungarian Monarchy. Sadly, it had to close its doors in 1945 after World War II. Many years later, Albert Michler's descendants relocated the distillery to Bristol, England, committed to preserving the values and traditions of the Buchsdorf spirits manufactory and ensuring the legacy and pioneering spirit of that bygone era. The English company Albert Michler became one of the first distributors to bring Jamaican rum to Europe. Today, Albert Michler is a globally renowned blender, bottler, and importer of premium rums from around the world, but especially from the Caribbean. This is impressively demonstrated by the following selection of outstanding single cask bottlings, the "Albert Michler Single Cask Collection"—high-quality rums from various vintages that are second to none.
