Product information "Angels Nectar Single Malt Scotch Whiskey Oloroso Sherry Cask Edition Cask Strength 0.7L"
Inspired by the legend of the "Angels' Share," the portion of whisky lost through natural evaporation during maturation, the various Angels' Nectar editions were created. This extremely rare single malt was distilled in 2015 at a small distillery in the Perthshire region of the Scottish Highlands and then matured for six years in a former Oloroso sherry cask. It was bottled in 2022 as a strictly limited single cask release, of which only 181 bottles exist worldwide. In the glass, this Angels' Nectar Single Malt Scotch Whisky Oloroso Sherry Cask Edition displays a warm golden hue. On the nose, it presents itself as wonderfully sweet and inviting. On the palate, elegant aromas of polished oak, dates, syrup, and juicy fruitcake unfold, accompanied by an intense yet harmonious sherry richness. The overall impression is lush, rich and balanced, making this single malt an expressive delight for lovers of characterful sherry cask maturation.
