Product information "Bombarda Sovereign 22YO Rum 0.75L"
Bombarda Sovereign 22YO Rum is an exclusive XO Dark Rum created as a tribute to HMS Sovereign of the Seas, a colossal, ornately decorated warship of the Royal Navy from the 17th century. A giant with a vast arsenal of cannons, it was feared by all who encountered it. Sovereign 22YO Dark Rum is distilled in a Coffey Enmore wooden still from Demerara. After approximately nine years of aging in former French Armagnac casks, the rum is then aged for over twelve years in white oak barrels. The result is a complex, powerful, and highly aromatic dark rum, presented in an exceptional gold and black bottle that commands attention. The nose and palate are initially greeted by a golden sweetness, underscored by notes of marmalade, bitter orange peel, Demerara raisin, wood, and spices. True to the Bombarda promise, no additives such as sugar, caramel, or colorings have been used, nor has it been chill-filtered. The combination of brandy and rum is a wonderful pairing and is perfect for enjoying neat, but it also shines in classic cocktails!
