This rum matures for twelve months in small oak barrels, including used American oak as well as new and used French oak barrels, which have been selectively toasted to achieve optimal flavor development. In the glass, it displays a rich mahogany hue. The nose reveals floral notes, toasted bread, candied pineapple, and subtle wood aromas. On the palate, it is spicy and balanced with hints of orange marmalade, cinnamon, vanilla, and a delicate toasty character. The texture is clean and smooth.
