Product information "Bristol Jamaica Trelawney County 2009/2021 0.7L -GB-"
Independent English bottler Bristol Spirits has once again discovered a gem, securing an exclusive license for this exceptional rum from the Trelawney County region of Jamaica. Selected in 2009, this rum was distilled using the pot still method and initially matured for five years in used American oak barrels under the Jamaican sun. In 2014, it was transferred to Bristol Spirits' cellars in England, where it aged for a further seven years to deepen its aromatic profile. Bottled in 2021 without chill filtration, this Jamaica Trelawney County Rum presents itself in a pale golden hue and displays an expressive nose full of fruit and high esters, absolutely typical of pot still rums from this region. On the palate, it is powerful with intense fruit notes that lead into a pleasantly medium-length finish. A distinctive Jamaican rum that is particularly enjoyable "on the rocks".
