John Barret, founder and owner of Bristol Spirits, once again sourced the perfect rum for his premium Bristol Classic range from the Caribbean. The Bristol Old Reserve Rum of Jamaica 1997/2022 was distilled in 1997 at the Clarendon Estate in Jamaica and immediately transported to Bristol Spirits in England. There, it matured for over two decades in ex-American oak barrels in the Bristol Spirits cellars until its very limited bottling in 2022. This extended maturation period imparts incredible complexity and uniqueness to the rum. It presents a pale gold hue and a fresh nose with lovely notes of fruit and well-balanced oak. The palate offers similarly well-integrated flavors with a pleasing length, leading into a smooth, structured finish. Enjoy this exquisite rum on the rocks with friends for a truly memorable evening!
