Independent bottler Bristol Spirits is committed to bottling only the finest, carefully selected rums from around the world. With this Bristol Reserve Rum of Nicaragua 2004/2022, Bristol Spirits has once again made a great find. Distilled in 2004 in a column still, this rum then matured on-site (a point of great importance to Bristol Spirits) for eighteen long years in ex-American oak barrels. In 2013, it was transported to England to Bristol Spirits. There, the rum underwent its continental maturation at a constant temperature in Bristol Spirits' cellars until its limited-edition bottling in 2022. It presents itself in an intense golden hue and exudes beautiful fruity and sweet aromas with hints of violets on the nose. On the palate, it is smooth and lingers with a well-balanced finish. Enjoy it with a splash of water or on the rocks.
