This Bristol Reserve Rum of Trinidad & Tobago Caroni 1998/2022 is one of the last true rarities from the legendary Caroni Distillery in Trinidad, which no longer exists. The renowned independent bottler Bristol Spirits secured this special cask for its Bristol Classic Rum range. After distillation in 1998, the rum initially matured for twelve years on-site in selected American oak barrels before being transferred to England in 2010. There, it underwent a further, extended maturation period in the cellars of Bristol Spirits, lasting until bottling in 2022. The rum displays an intense golden color and presents a classic Caroni nose with distinctive, characteristic notes and subtle oak influence. On the palate, full, deep fruit flavors unfold with beautiful balance and structure, leading into a long, harmonious finish. An exceptional rum with history and character, ideal for enjoying neat or with a splash of water.
