Burmester Colheita Port 1952 0.75L -GB-

Product information "Burmester Colheita Port 1952 0.75L -GB-"

Burmester's exclusive Colheita Port is made from select traditional grapes of the Douro region, grown on the slopes of vineyards at altitudes of up to 600 meters, known as "Vinha ao Alto" (vertically planted vines). The grapes are harvested only when they have reached optimal ripeness and are then carefully macerated, extracted, and fermented to preserve all of their delicate aromas, rich color, and tannins. The wine then matures for an extended period, at least seven years, in high-quality oak barrels. A deep orange to red color with brown undertones characterizes Colheita Port, which is produced exclusively from a single, exceptional vintage. It displays an outstanding aromatic presence, with a complex blend of dried fruits and spices. Soft and balanced on the palate, it demonstrates finesse and harmony. A port of great elegance and freshness, with a remarkable structure and body that lingers in the long and powerful finish.
