Cambio combines traditional Jalisco tequila production with a modern, exceptionally precise aging concept. The brand aims to reinterpret classic tequila without additives, achieving maximum elegance and aromatic depth. For the Reposado Harvest 2025, only premium Blue Weber agave from the highlands of Jalisco is used. After slow cooking and gentle processing with the traditional tahona, a long open fermentation with special wine yeast takes place before the tequila is carefully distilled. The Reposado acquires its exceptional character through double barrel aging: first for 30 days in ex-Burgundy and white Bordeaux wine barrels, then for a further five months in toasted French Chardonnay oak barrels. This results in a particularly smooth and complex style with remarkable balance. On the nose, warm caramel notes, butterscotch, and delicate spices are revealed. On the palate, honey-roasted agave, orange peel, pear, and ripe peach notes unfold, accompanied by a creamy texture and subtle oak spice. The long finish is soft, rich, and elegant with delicate hints of sweet spices and toasted wood. Served neat or slightly chilled, this Reposado showcases its complex barrel aging in a particularly harmonious way.
