Château Arton Haut Armagnac 2019 Fine Blanche® is the first French Blanche d'Armagnac, made from Colombard grapes of Gascony, from the vineyards of Château Arton. In 1986, Patrick de Montal decided to break new ground and abandon the traditional, classic method of Armagnac production. This decision stemmed from a daring bet at a time when all producers were still relying on older vintages. Château Arton Fine Blanche® has since become a classic. Both traditional and innovative, it is considered the perfect, natural eau-de-vie, an authentic expression of a vintage and revealing the exceptional terroir of the Haut-Armagnac AOC. The base for this Blanche Armagnac is Château Arton white wine, distilled in an Alambic Armagnacais (column still) and then aged in stainless steel tanks. The continuous distillation process, or rather the heating of the wine, is the secret of Fine Blanche® with its diverse array of exquisite aromas. The connoisseur perceives a naturally fragrant flavor profile that is transparent, vibrant, and intoxicating.
