It all began with a small estate of vineyards in the village of Mainxe, located in the prestigious Grande Champagne region of France. André Thorin founded this small estate in 1950. The estate has steadily expanded, and since the 1990s, his son, Claude Thorin, has been at the helm. Numerous oak barrels are used to age exceptional eaux-de-vie, with a certain amount always reserved for future generations. This superb Grande Champagne XO Cognac is the result of a blend of several cognacs, carefully distilled by André and Claude Thorin. A magnificent bouquet of aromas unfolds, with notes of coffee, candied fruit, tobacco, and spices. The initial taste is long and fruity, reflecting the powerful and typical finesse of Claude Thorin cognacs. The long finish reveals the complexity of its aromas.
