The Claude Thorin Cognac House, located in the renowned La Grande Champagne region of France, was founded in 1950. Since then, the estate has grown steadily, producing fine, exclusive cognacs. They also decided to join the venerable "Vigneron Indépendants" (Independent Winegrowers). Grande Champagne XO Royal is one of the oldest cognacs, originally distilled by André Thorin, and embodies all the characteristics of the classic La Grande Champagne cognac. It boasts an exceptional copper hue, and its exotic aroma evokes notes of citrus and spices. Complex aromas of a cigar box, tobacco, and dried fruit emerge, along with a hint of rancidity. A pleasant taste unfolds on the palate, smooth with spicy notes of pepper, cinnamon, and nutmeg. A long and intense finish.
