Creag Dhu Speyside Single Malt Whiskey 0.7L -GB-

Product information "Creag Dhu Speyside Single Malt Whiskey 0.7L -GB-"

With the production of Creag Dhu Single Malt Whisky, the aim is to raise awareness and interest in peatlands and contribute to the preservation of Scotland's peat bogs, some of the world's most important carbon sinks. Every bottle of Creag Dhu sold supports valuable investments in projects dedicated to the conservation of Scottish peatlands. For this unpeated single malt, the finest barley is selected, followed by perfected mashing and time-honored distillation techniques that have remained unchanged in Scotland for centuries. However, the key to Creag Dhu's exceptional flavor profile lies in the selected ex-Oloroso sherry casks and how they were toasted and charred. The traditional Creag Dhu matured for a minimum of eight years in these special casks, which are responsible for its delicious and intense flavor profile. On the nose, it reveals delightful notes of sweet fruits, including date and walnut cake and toffee apple, underpinned by subtle coffee nuances and warm, spicy tones. On the palate, Creag Dhu reveals itself as medium-bodied, wonderfully rich and smooth, with notes of date and walnut cake, spicy caramel, and Oloroso sherry. A lovely malt note is also present, followed by toffee apple and a hint of smoke. Its finish is long and warm with fruity tones. A delicious and very drinkable single malt for connoisseurs – cheers!
