Embargo Añejo Esplendido Rum is a blend of young and aged rums from the Caribbean countries of Guatemala, Martinique, Trinidad & Tobago, and Cuba. The blend is composed of three distinct base products: distillates of fresh sugarcane juice, virgin sugarcane honey, and sugarcane molasses. These are distilled in column stills and subsequently aged in oak barrels in their respective countries of origin. The result is a unique, magnificent, amber-colored rum creation from the Caribbean, wonderfully smooth and balanced, which successfully expands the Embargo brand. The nose detects an aromatic palette of caramel and vanilla, followed by nuts and exotic fruits. A pleasant sweetness unfolds on the palate with beautifully balanced notes of caramel, vanilla, sugarcane syrup, and exotic spices, underscored by a hint of wood. The finish of this exceptional Añejo Esplendido Rum is pleasantly smooth and long. It is ideal for enjoying neat or in interesting cocktails.
