The Norwegian distillery Det Norske Brenneri has set itself the task of creating an exceptional cask-aged gin in small batches. This Harahorn Cask-Aged Gin Miniatures is handcrafted using traditional methods from Norwegian potato distillate and natural spice distillates including juniper, blueberries, rhubarb, wild marjoram, and other fine botanicals. However, it is only after maturing for at least 12 months in the finest, specially selected ex-Oloroso sherry oak casks that it can be called Harahorn Cask-Aged Gin. This special cask maturation gives it a remarkable depth and complexity that sets it apart from conventional gins. Its wonderful golden color also visually distinguishes it. This impression continues on the nose – delicate aromas of juniper berries, pine needles, and lemon mingle with hints of wood and vanilla. On the palate, it is soft and elegant, revealing a rounded, full body and beautiful juniper notes with subtle hints of oak. Whether neat, on the rocks, or in an exclusive cocktail, this Harahorn Cask Aged Gin is a feast for the senses.
