This exceptional Harahorn Pink Gin Miniatures is lovingly handcrafted in small batches using only Norwegian botanicals and wild berries. Harahorn is the name of a Norwegian mythical creature said to haunt the local mountain Hemsedalen in Norway. This inspired Det Norske Brenneri, formerly Puntervold/Agder Brenneri, based in Grimstad, to create Harahorn Small Batch Gins. The base for this Harahorn Pink Gin is the already well-known standard Harahorn Gin, made with juniper berries from Røros, blueberries from Nordmarka, rhubarb and seaweed from Grimstad, angelica root from Oppdal, and wild marjoram from Sunndal. However, the Harahorn Pink Gin is further flavored with red berries such as raspberries and blueberries, which give it its beautiful rosé hue and its wonderfully sweet and fruity character. The nose initially detects sweet, berry aromas, followed by slightly floral and spicy notes, paired with a hint of rhubarb. On the palate, it is complex with intense berry flavors and spicy nuances. Highly recommended for creative cocktails and long drinks.
