Hernö Old Tom Gin is produced in Dala, in the Angermanland region of Sweden, and is based on the tried-and-tested recipe of Hernö Navy Strength Gin. This premium gin is meticulously handcrafted, embodying quality, tradition, and great passion. Eight carefully selected botanicals are used in this bottling, giving the gin its distinctive style. These include juniper from Hungary, coriander seeds from Bulgaria, hand-peeled lemons, lingonberries from Sweden, meadowsweet from Great Britain, black pepper from India, cassia from Indonesia, and fresh vanilla from Madagascar. An additional portion of meadowsweet is intentionally added to the Old Tom Gin, lending the distillate a delicate, natural sweetness and gentle, honey-like aromas. On the palate, the gin is balanced, smooth, and aromatic, with a harmonious blend of spice, freshness, and subtle sweetness. This Old Tom Gin is an excellent, elegant base for classic long drinks such as the Gin Fizz.
