Christian Jensen is a Londoner born in Denmark with a great passion for gin and a fascination for recipes, ingredients, and traditional gin production methods of bygone eras. In 2004, together with Master Distiller Charles Maxwell, he created his perfect gin: Bermondsey Dry. The independent distillery is located in London's historic Bermondsey district, on the banks of the Thames and in the shadow of Tower Bridge and The Shard. This Jensen's Bermondsey Gin, made from high-quality neutral alcohol and water, is carefully distilled in a special copper still, with all botanicals added directly to the distillate. Slow and gentle heating allows the aromas and flavors of the ingredients to subtly develop and be locked in. This highly efficient method represents both tradition and modernity. The result is a gin full of complexity, depth, and character. It offers the nose and palate a wonderful balance of juniper, citrus fruits, and spices, embodying elegance and refinement.
