Journeyman Corsets, Whips & Whiskey 0.5L

Product information "Journeyman Corsets, Whips & Whiskey 0.5L"

The Journeyman Distillery in Three Oaks, Michigan, is located in the former Featherbone Factory, a historic building originally established in 1883 as a carriage, whip, and corset factory. In 2010, Bill Welter and Greg Ramsay transformed the Featherbone Factory into the Journeyman Distillery. The two had met years earlier at a hotel in Scotland, where they forged a friendship and discovered their shared passion for whiskey. The artfully restored factory building, where Journeyman spirits are now distilled, aged, and bottled, retains its authentic character and rich history. Journeyman Corsets, Whips & Whiskey, named after the products formerly manufactured in the building, was released as a limited edition at cask strength. High-quality Michigan wheat imparts an exceptional smoothness and natural sweetness to this whiskey, reminiscent of an Irish whiskey on the palate. The nose reveals delicate notes of dark chocolate, wildflower honey, apple, and baking spices. On the palate, it presents itself as sweet and rich with aromas of crème brûlée, apple, fine baking spices and a hint of stone fruit such as apricot.
