Kaniché's latest bottling is not a Barbadian distillate, but rather the finest, carefully selected rum from Panama. Like the XO Double Wood, it initially matures in ex-bourbon barrels in Panama before being shipped to Cognac, France. There, the rum is transferred to Cognac casks to develop its individual profile for a few more months before being bottled in a limited edition of 2,112 bottles. The beautifully amber-colored Kaniché Perfeccion Double Wood has much to offer on the nose and palate. It exudes wonderful aromas of oak, vanilla, and spices, but its full complexity and refinement are revealed on the palate. Incredibly smooth and harmonious, it seduces with delicious notes of molasses, dried fruit, vanilla, and oak. Cognac notes and hints of cocoa, caramel, and orange can also be detected. From the first sip to the last, it's a new experience every time.
