Kaniché rums are produced in Barbados, one of the most iconic islands in the Caribbean. The Barbadian style is very distinctive; the rums are round, smooth, and robust, thanks to a unique aging technique. First, this rum ages in bourbon barrels in Barbados, then it is transferred to France and finished in cognac casks for a further short maturation. The result is a typical Barbadian-style rum with notes of fresh wood, toffee, vanilla, and oak.
