Lambig de Bretagne Hors d'Âge comes from the renowned Distillerie des Menhirs in the small village of Plomelin in the Finistère department of Brittany. For this cider-based eau-de-vie, the finest and most exquisite eaux-de-vie are selected with the utmost care and aged for many years in small casks of fine oak. These are then masterfully blended. The word Lambig derives from the French word "alambic," meaning still. Traditionally, Lambig was produced in rural Brittany for personal consumption. It wasn't until 1986 that Lambig began being produced for sale. Lambig de Bretagne Hors d'Âge delights the palate with rich tannins and wonderful notes of oak and spice. Connoisseurs classically enjoy Lambig de Bretagne as a digestif after a meal.
