This exceptional Montebello Ambré Rhum Agricole is produced by the renowned Distillerie du Rhum Montebello on the beautiful Caribbean island of Guadeloupe. The Montebello distillery has received numerous awards for its excellent and authentic Agricole Rhums and stands for artisanal quality and clear provenance. This light, amber-colored Rhum Traditionnel Ambré, also known as golden rum, gets its characteristic color from column still distillation using the purest sugarcane juice from the island, followed by aging in carefully selected oak barrels. Guadeloupe's tropical, warm, and humid climate supports the harmonious development of the aromas. On the nose and palate, typical dry Rhum Agricole notes of fresh grass are evident, accompanied by elegant floral nuances. As the palate develops, more intense oak aromas emerge, along with delicate, sweet vanilla notes that lend the rum depth and structure. The finish is long, balanced, and pleasantly smooth.
