On Guadeloupe, there lived a mighty fighting rooster nicknamed "Zenga." A glorious title he earned through his courage and strong character in numerous cockfights. The name of this Montebello cuvée is a tribute to him, as the bottle label features the rooster "Zenga," impressing with his strength! Zenga Agricole White is a vintage premium rum, made from locally sourced, specially selected sugarcane varieties. The entire production process is strictly monitored by the distillery according to AOC guidelines. The result is a unique Rhum Agricole with plenty of character and profile, distilled in January 2019 and bottled in October 2020. It is white in color with light sea-green reflections. On the nose, it is complex and delicate; sugarcane aromas reveal a beautiful presence and unveil notes of tropical fruits and pastries. On the palate, it is pleasant and confirms its complexity with notes of fresh sugarcane, fruit, and spices. Zenga Agricole White has an incredibly long finish, leaving a delicious, caramelized, and slightly salty aftertaste.
