Montebello Vieux 3YO Rhum Agricole is produced by the Montebello Distillery in Guadeloupe and represents artisanal quality and balanced maturation. This rum is based on a carefully composed blend of various aged rums, which have spent their maturation period in ex-bourbon barrels made of American white oak. The tropical climate of Guadeloupe lends the rum additional depth and expressiveness. On the nose, beautiful, multi-layered aromas of toasted butter, fresh and caramelized bananas, and subtle wood notes emerge. Delicate hints of bourbon barrels and spices complete the aromatic profile. On the palate, the rum is silky, smooth, and dry, with a pleasantly fruity body and a warming texture. The finish is long, balanced, and complex with notes of toasted cedar, oak, and pepper.
