Pere Labat Rhum Blanc 70.7 Brut de Colonne 0.7L -GB-

Product information "Pere Labat Rhum Blanc 70.7 Brut de Colonne 0.7L -GB-"

This impressive, authentic Rhum Agricole Blanc – also known as "707" – is produced at a very high alcohol content using traditional methods on Marie-Galante, an island in the archipelago of Guadeloupe. The name Père Labat comes from Jean-Baptiste Labat, a 17th-century Dominican missionary who significantly contributed to the development of rum distillation in the Caribbean. This Rhum Blanc is made from the finest fresh sugarcane juice. After a fermentation period of approximately three days, it is distilled in a traditional column still. It is bottled as "brut de colonne," meaning at full distillation strength, without dilution. This is a strictly limited release of only 3,500 bottles. The rum impresses with its natural aromas, uncompromising authenticity, and a powerful, fresh style deeply rooted in the history and tradition of Marie-Galante. The nose reveals clear, fresh, fruity, and slightly sweet notes. These impressions continue on the palate, carried by intense aromas of fresh sugar cane and great expressiveness. For optimal enjoyment, it is recommended to serve this exceptional rum well chilled.
