The Père Labat Rhum Hors d'Âge Millésime 2010 Single Cask matured for eight long years in an ex-bourbon barrel. Following an old tradition dating back to the 17th century, this single cask bottling was distilled in 2010 on Marie-Galante, an island in the archipelago of Guadeloupe in the Caribbean. Its wonderful copper color promises an exceptional experience – and it certainly doesn't disappoint. Even on the nose, it captivates with fragrant aromas of dried fruit, chocolate, and roasted coffee. It is powerful, aromatic, and incredibly complex. Its wonderful balance and oily viscosity characterize this exceptional Rhum Agricole made from fresh sugarcane juice. The palate is marked by pleasant notes of wood, spicy notes, and hints of dried fruit.
