Père Labat Rhum Soleil 55 is produced on the beautiful Caribbean island of Marie-Galante in the archipelago of Guadeloupe, following time-honored traditions. The Domaine Poisson distillery produces Rhum Agricole using the time-honored methods of Jean-Baptiste Labat, a renowned 17th-century missionary known as Père Labat, after whom this premium rum is named. The Rhum Soleil matures for six months in oak barrels, acquiring its beautiful straw-yellow color. It is robust, with a lovely body, oxygen, and tannins. A sunny Rhum Agricole, it is simply perfect in any Ti' Punch and many refreshing cocktails.
