The Pere Labat Rhum Vieux Millésime 1995 comes from the traditional Poisson distillery on Marie-Galante, a small island south of Guadeloupe. This limited-edition vintage rum was distilled in 1995 and aged for decades in oak barrels—a true masterpiece of Caribbean craftsmanship and an expression of the identity of Guadeloupean Rhum Agricole. It is made from freshly pressed sugarcane juice, which is fermented in open vats and then distilled in traditional pot stills. The long tropical aging process gives it its intense color and aromatic depth. In the glass, it displays a rich amber hue. The nose unfolds sweet, floral, and fruity notes, accompanied by dried flowers, spices, damp wood, and a subtle sense of maturity.
